Installation costs

I am doing a college course on renewable energies and I need to find out total installation costs for different two different forms of micro generation.  As I live in Shetland I was going to compare a domestic wind turbine installation to a setup using a ground source heat pump and underfloor heating.  I am wondering if any of you know where I could source such information or know of a company who may supply me with a rough costing plan?

Regarding the wind turbine, the installation costs will vary depending on location and the size and type of system. However the basic components are usually the same:
turbine, mast, inverters, battery storage (if required) and installation

I have found a guide price a system in the region of 2.5kW would cost roughly £11,000 installed.

For ground source heat pumps, a typical 8 - 12kW system costs £6,000 - £12,000 (not including the price of distribution system).

For a more detailed estimate of the likely costs, you could try contacting EarthWise (http://www.earthwisescotland.co.uk/) who are based in Aberdeen and specialise in ground source heat pumps.
